6.3. Do not refer to an item by indicating its color, shape, or position alone
If you only refer to the color, shape or position of an element to identify it, some users will be unable to locate it on the page.
For example, you should replace:
- “Click on the round button” by “Click on the Confirm button”.
- “For more information see the insert on the right” by “For more information see the insert on the right (Wiltshire contract)”.
